Litigation Paralegal — Full-Time | In-Office | Costa Mesa, CA
This is not your average admin role. We need a litigation-savvy legal professional who can draft form complaints, prepare written discovery, and support attorneys in fast-paced, deadline-driven pre-lit matters. If you're the type who double-checks your own double-check, you'll feel right at home. You'll be joining a supportive, close-knit Demands Team that's passionate about closing cases with excellence.
What you'll do:
- Draft and file form complaints with high accuracy and attention to deadlines
- Prepare and respond to written discovery — interrogatories, RFPs, and RFAs
- Manage litigation calendars, statutes of limitation, and attorney follow-ups
- Coordinate depositions, medical exams, and interpreter/court reporter services
- Organize and prepare trial binders, motions, and other key filings
- Monitor settlement documentation and track insurance adjuster communications
- Bridge communication between the Demands Team and Litigation Team
- Maintain detailed case notes and file updates in our CRM system
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of recent litigation paralegal experience (personal injury preferred)
- Strong command of California Civil Procedure; federal rules familiarity a plus
- Paralegal certificate required
- Proven track record drafting complaints and discovery without supervision
- Master-level attention to detail with the ability to manage a heavy caseload
- Experience with trial prep, calendaring, and deposition logistics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal CRM systems
- Bilingual in Spanish or Korean — a plus
