Cornerstone Children’s Center is looking for a nurturing, passionate, and reliable Full Time Infant Teacher to become a valued part of our warm and welcoming team. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Create a safe, calm, and loving environment where infants can thrive
- Maintain accurate records for feeding, sleeping, diapering, and attendance
- Communicate frequently and respectfully with children, parents and teammates
- Implement an engaging, developmentally appropriate classroom routine that nurtures infant development
- Document and track each child’s growth in alignment with the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards (CTELDS)
- Help uphold health, safety, and licensing standards at all times
- Step into other classrooms when needed — we’re all one team!
- Bring positive and nurturing energy, reliability, and compassion into every part of your day
- Attend monthly team meetings and contribute to a positive culture
- Develop your ability to observe, assess, and interact with children in a manner that always support their growth
- Develop your ability to understand the nuances of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
What We’re Looking For:
- You have 2+ years of experience working with infants and toddlers in professional early childhood settings
- You can work until 5:30 or 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- You’re dependable, punctual, professional and committed to your agreed-upon hours
- You’re receptive to feedback, professional in conduct, and coachable
- You act as a team player in all responsibilities, upkeep, and routines of the indoor and outdoor classrooms
