Now Hiring: Production Shop Foreman – A/C Installation (Krugerville, TX)

Pay: $25.00 – $31.00/hr

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift

Location: On-site | Krugerville, TX

Top Qualifications (Strongly Preferred):

• 2+ years installing A/C systems in commercial vehicles

• 1+ year supervising a team of full-time technicians

• Solid technical background in vehicle repair and maintenance

Job Overview:

The Production Shop Foreman is responsible for leading the A/C installation team, overseeing daily operations, supervising technicians, and ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:Daily Operations & Team Oversight

• Open and prepare the shop each workday

• Assign work based on skill level and schedule

• Track job progress to ensure timely completion

• Perform Quality Control checks throughout installation and before delivery

• Work with outside vendors for contract repairs

Technical & Shop Management

• Troubleshoot technical issues with technicians

• Manage supply inventory and order parts

• Maintain tools and shop equipment

• Ensure shop cleanliness and safety

• Conduct quarterly inventory checks

• Confirm all vehicles are parked and secured at end of day

Supervision & Personnel Support

• Supervise technicians and utility workers

• Assist with technician recruiting, screening, and training

• Support timecard tracking and attendance reporting

• Help train new drivers

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure OSHA and hazardous materials standards are followed

• Maintain vehicle and facility compliance

• Identify and correct unsafe conditions

• Operate equipment following safety guidelines

Leadership KPIs

• Monitor technician efficiency

• Minimize rework/comebacks

• Drive on-time vehicle deliveries

• Support strong customer satisfaction ratings (CSI scores)

Requirements:Education & Experience

• 5+ years of vehicle repair and maintenance

• 2+ years installing commercial vehicle A/C systems

• 1+ year supervising a technician team

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred Skills

• Advanced automotive/mechanical knowledge

• Ability to train and mentor others

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Ability to lift heavy equipment/parts

• Bilingual and/or CDL Class B license is a plus

Training Provided:

• OSHA safety training

Work Environment:

• Indoor/outdoor shop environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and moving equipment

• Some travel may be required (up to 10%)

• Work hours typically between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexibility required)
