Position Overview

As a Community Outreach Representative, you will help promote nonprofit programs, engage with local residents, and support community events aimed at driving awareness and participation. Key Responsibilities

  • Attend community events, outreach programs, and local initiatives on behalf of nonprofit partners

  • Engage directly with community members to share information about programs, services, and resources

  • Communicate mission-driven messaging in a clear, positive, and approachable way

  • Support event setup, displays, materials, and outreach stations

  • Help collect participant information, sign-ups, and interest forms

  • Assist with tracking outreach numbers, engagement metrics, and event outcomes

  • Collaborate with team members to meet outreach goals and improve community engagement strategies

  • Represent nonprofit partners with professionalism, empathy, and enthusiasm

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Friendly, approachable, and passionate about helping others

  • Comfortable speaking with new people and engaging in meaningful conversations

  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work in an active, event-based environment

  • Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities

  • Flexible availability, including occasional weekends

  • Experience in outreach, volunteer work, or public-facing roles is helpful but not required
