Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school located in Hillsboro, OR. This opportunity offers a hybrid in-person work environment, providing a balance between classroom interaction and flexible work settings. The position is a contract for the next school year (NSY) with caseload details to be discussed upon hiring.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support students communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to facilitate student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure integrated support for each student.
- Stay current with best practices and professional development in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP-School) is required.
- Experience working within a school setting is highly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid in-person educational environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families.
- Flexibility to adapt therapy approaches based on individual student needs.
