Job Title: Accountant/Auditor (MUNIS)
Location: Remote
Type: W-2 Contract, long term
Compensation: Negotiable
Contractor Work Model: Remote
A local government client seeks contract staff to perform professional accounting/auditing work.
- The Contractor(s) must understand generally accepted accounting principles for governmental accounting, including having a thorough knowledge and understanding of GASB and/or FASB standards and statements.
- Additionally, the Contractor must be proficient in using Oracle ERP accounting systems, Excel, and other current technology.
- Knowledge of MUNIS, Crystal Reports, and BI tools is strongly preferred.
- Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- preparing analyses of reports and making recommendations regarding the analyses
- performing analysis of assigned funds/sub-funds
- performing complex reconciliations of various Oracle General ledger accounts
- preparing supporting work papers for adjusting journal entries.
