Make a real impact on student success by providing essential psychological services in a supportive, school-based environment. Step into a contract position for the 2026-2027 school year, working Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm, with the flexibility to choose between a PreK or Middle School caseload. You’ll work with a manageable group of 25-35 students, allowing you to dedicate attention and expertise to each child’s unique needs.
Ideal candidates bring current Arizona Psychologist certification and an active IVP fingerprint clearance card. Your skills as a School Psychologist will help assess, counsel, and support students as part of a collaborative educational team.
Qualifications:
- Arizona Psychologist certification (required)
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Prior experience working with PreK or Middle School students preferred
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for facilitating student development in diverse academic settings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to develop individualized intervention strategies
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultations
- Monitor progress and adjust plans to ensure student growth
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
