  • Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)\n
  • Start Date: January 26, 2026\n
  • End Date: April 27, 2026\n
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
  • Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts/week (36 hours/week guaranteed)\n
  • Scheduling: Flexible self-scheduling; includes weekends and occasional holidays\n
  • Orientation: 1-2 unit-specific orientation shifts\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

    \n
  • Active RN license (Idaho or compact state) – Registered Nurse jobs\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (first-time travel nurses welcome)\n
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS\n
  • Ability to titrate drips (Insulin, Cardizem, Heparin)\n
  • Basic telemetry skills\n
  • Willingness to float to ER for tasks (rarely)\n
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of McCall, Idaho\n

\n\nMed/Surg RN Responsibilities\n

    \n
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse diagnoses: post-orthopedic surgeries, pneumonia, COPD, CHF, general surgical, and cardiac conditions\n
  • Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 (without CNA) or 1:3\n
  • Titrate and monitor common drips (Insulin, Cardizem, Heparin)\n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including charge nurses and CNAs\n
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient charting and documentation\n
  • Participate in flexible self-scheduling and fill scheduling gaps as needed\n
  • Support patient care with respiratory therapy equipment (nasal cannula, high flow, CPAP, BiPAP)\n
  • Maintain professional appearance (any color scrubs permitted)\n
