We're looking for a seasoned Sr. Commercial Lender to join a well-established, community-focused regional banking institution. In this senior role, you'll own the full lending lifecycle — origination, underwriting, and closing — while building new business and deepening client relationships.
What You'll Do
- Originate, underwrite, and close commercial loans in compliance with Credit Policy
- Manage and monitor an active loan portfolio with annual credit reviews and risk ratings
- Drive new business through a proactive calling plan and COI relationships
- Cross-sell financial solutions to new and existing clients
- Represent the firm at community events, Chamber meetings, and business development programs
- Collaborate with credit administration on loan presentations and problem credit resolution
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting
- 2+ years of commercial lending experience
- Proven business development and client relationship skills
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational abilities
- 25% travel availability outside a 50-mile radius
