Additional hours may become available based on performance anddepartment needs.
The Patient AccessRepresentative plays a key role in supporting daily administrative operations,with a primary focus on accurate data entry, fax and referral processing, andinsurance eligibility checks. You will work closely with clinical and administrativeteams to ensure patients experience a smooth, efficient registration andreferral process.
Compensation: $20–$22per hour, depending on experience. Excellent Opportunity for Premed Students | 8 Hours/Week
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform timely and accuratedata entry of patient information
- Process incoming faxes,referrals, and documentation for provider review
- Conduct insuranceeligibility and benefits verification
- Support patient registrationworkflows as needed
- Assist with additionaladministrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma orequivalent
- Minimum of 1 year ofcustomer service experience; healthcare setting experience preferred
- Strong organizationalabilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task andperform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, with a patient-centered approach
- Knowledge of medicalterminology required
