You’ll coordinate due diligence, prepare closing documents, and act as a liaison between clients, title companies, lenders, and other stakeholders — ensuring that every transaction is executed smoothly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review title and survey documents for commercial real estate sales, leases, and financing transactions.

  • Assist attorneys with real estate closings, including drafting and organizing closing documents, escrow instructions, and closing binders.

  • Coordinate communication between clients, lenders, brokers, and title companies.

  • Prepare and review closing statements and related financial documents.

  • Conduct due diligence, including lien, judgment, and UCC searches.

  • Assist with state filings and the procurement of regulatory documents for real estate and lending transactions.

  • Maintain organized transaction files and support attorneys throughout all stages of the deal.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a real estate paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department handling commercial real estate and finance.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate or equivalent attestation required.

  • Strong understanding of title, survey, and closing processes for commercial real estate.

  • Familiarity with financing structures, escrow procedures, and regulatory filings.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability, and time management.

  • Professional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000 annually (commensurate with experience).

  • Comprehensive Benefits: 401(k), profit sharing, full health, dental, and vision insurance.
