Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and dies.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for tooling performance issues.
- Manage the maintenance, repair, and calibration schedules for all production tooling.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve tooling efficiency and product quality.
- Evaluate new tooling technologies and materials to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for tooling specifications and maintenance procedures.
- Support new product development by ensuring tooling readiness and successful integration into production.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven experience in tooling design, development, and optimization for manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, metal stamping, CNC machining).
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam) for design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, DFM principles, and material science as applied to tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex tooling issues and implement corrective actions.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD) for tooling analysis.
- Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP) for tooling projects.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).
- Knowledge of additive manufacturing applications for tooling.
- Familiarity with automation controls (e.g., PLCs) for tooling systems.
