YOUR NEW ROLE AS A WAREHOUSE MANAGER

This HVAC Warehouse Manager position is full-time, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, providing a stable routine and weekends off.


In this role, you will oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of HVAC and plumbing materials and equipment, ensuring all inventory is accurately tracked and efficiently organized. Your day will involve utilizing inventory technology to automate tracking and conducting cycle counts to maintain precise records. You will receive and verify shipments, address any discrepancies or damages promptly, and prepare parts and equipment for daily distribution to technicians and installation crews. Maintaining a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment will be a priority, as will designing and implementing controls to minimize shrinkage. Additional responsibilities include optimizing storage layouts, managing the return of unused materials, ensuring proper documentation, delivering parts to job sites as needed, managing employee uniforms, and coordinating with the vehicle fleet manager. You will continuously evaluate and enhance warehouse processes to improve efficiency.


REQUIREMENTS FOR A WAREHOUSE MANAGER

  • Experience tracking inventory levels using technology and conducting cycle counts
  • Experience running parts to job sites and managing employee uniforms
  • Ability to oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of HVAC and plumbing materials and equipment
  • Strong skill in labeling, storing, and organizing materials, tools, parts, and equipment efficiently
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and premises
  • Sense of urgency, attention to detail, trustworthiness, and self-motivation
  • Strong communication skills and technological savvy
