Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor acts as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and their vehicles are maintained or repaired efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, technical knowledge of vehicles, and a commitment to delivering a superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs with professionalism and empathy.
- Communicate vehicle issues, repair options, and estimated costs clearly to customers.
- Prepare detailed work orders and relay information to technicians accurately.
- Maintain regular communication with customers during the repair process, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Offer recommendations for additional services or repairs based on vehicle inspection results.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services and repairs.
- Handle billing, invoicing, and payment processing for completed services.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, vehicle history, and repair details.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management if necessary.
- Stay updated on automotive technologies and manufacturer recommendations to provide accurate advice.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in automotive services is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service or automotive-related role, preferably as a service advisor.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance, and repair processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is a plus.
- Familiarity with warranty processes and policies.
- Experience in upselling services and building customer trust.

Compensation:
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000 plus per year (salary + performance-based incentives)
