Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting in Lansing, MI. This full contract position runs from August through May and offers a 35-hour workweek within one school building. The role involves providing direct and indirect speech and language services to a caseload of up to 45 high school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across K-12.
- Utilize district-provided IEP systems with training to manage student progress and documentation efficiently.
- Collaborate with educational teams through paid team meetings and contribute to student success.
- Maintain accurate caseload records and participate in any required administrative duties.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities provided by the district.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure and certification.
- Experience working with children in school environments, preferably across K-12 grade levels.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45 students, providing effective individualized therapy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families.
- Comfortable with indirect hours including documentation and participation in team meetings.
