<p>We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our Peoria, Illinois Team focusing on providing high quality Occupational Health patient care. This position is Monday-Friday, no call!</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses</li>
<li>Provide all necessary treatments for acute injuries to include prescribing medication and necessary wound care.</li>
<li>Order and review appropriate imaging</li>
<li>Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patient.</li>
<li>Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities</li>
<li>Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Completion of a reputable nurse practitioner program</li>
<li>Previous experience in nursing or other medical field</li>
<li>Ability to build rapport with patients</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Strong leadership qualities</li>
</ul>
<p>Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.</p>
