Job DescriptionProduction LaborerTemp to hire with a well established BusinessResponsibilities
- Set up, operate, and disassemble production equipment
- Load/unload materials and finished goods
- Maintain equipment and adjust for proper weights and output
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols
- Rotate into sanitation duties as directed
- Report safety or quality concerns to supervisors or QA staff
- Perform CCP (Critical Control Point) checks as needed
- This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value.
- Work with a team to to produce top quality products.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in industrial equipment or food manufacturing
- Forklift or pallet jack certification is a plus
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding, loud, and variable-temperature environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling and reaching above and below shoulder levels
- Exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving machinery, and loud noise
- ability to work 12 hour shifts
