Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our busy family practice clinic. This role is essential in supporting providers and delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Escort patients from the waiting area and prepare them for examination
- Obtain and record patient vital signs
- Enter and maintain accurate patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Perform medication reconciliation
- Conduct EKGs as needed
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Return patient phone calls and assist with patient communication
- Complete medication and radiology prior authorizations
- Communicate lab results to patients
- Schedule diagnostic testing and follow-up care
- Assist providers to ensure efficient clinic operations
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Family practice or clinical experience preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Dependable with a strong commitment to professionalism
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Occasional overtime may be required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and remain on feet for extended periods (50% or more of the workday)
