Job Overview
We are seeking for a Pack out Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience working in a warehouse environment. This role involves operating and maintaining equipment, adhering to FDA regulations

Shift Hours:

Mon-Fri 5 am to 3:30 pm. OT’s occasional and advanced notice

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor sealing machines (heat sealers, vacuum sealers, automated baggers, etc.) during the fulfillment process.

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on sealing and packaging equipment to minimize downtime.

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and escalate complex problems to maintenance or engineering teams as needed.

• Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders, including packing, labeling, and sealing. • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Assist in tracking inventory of packaging materials and alerting supervisors of low stock.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.

• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets

• Inventory and stock incoming customer product.

• Inspect sealed items while counting and packaging them for shipping.

• Use pallet jack to move full pallets.

• Machine requirements:

Pass safety training before machine use.

When running, never leave your station unless you have a replacement.

Stop the machine when jamming occurs.

Get your supervisor if assistance is needed to clear the machine.

Make minor adjustments to the machine for efficiency.

Clean at the end of each shift for proper machine maintenance and safety.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or fulfillment environment.

• Beneficial experience Starview machine

• Must have experience with heat sealing (Manuel. Semi-automatic and fully automated)

•Mechanical repairs required

• Prior hands-on experience with sealing machines required (manual and/or automated).

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools

• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

• Ability to arrange items in a certain order or pattern according to specific/special instructions.

• Ability to read, write, and count English and Spanish.

• Self-motivated.

• Displays positive image and strong work ethic.
