Nursing Director- Hospital Clinics – Full Time (Monday – Friday)

What to except as a Director of Oncology & Infusion Services:

  • Responsible for the strategic, operational, and clinical leadership of the hospital’s Cardiopulmonary Services, Oncology & Infusion Services, and Wound Care.
  • Will assume staff nurse responsibilities in the event of open shifts.
  • Establishes and reviews polices.
  • Responsible for annual evaluations.
  • Attend manager meetings, participate in manager training programs, establishes departmental goals, and serve on hospital committees.
  • Manage staff and providers.
  • Provide guidance throughout the year.
  • Stays current in the field of Cardiopulmonary Services, Oncology & Infusions, and Wound Care, in collaboration with subject matter experts in each department, and shares information with appropriate personnel and administrative personnel.
  • Promotes referrals in the health care community.
  • Hires appropriate personnel for departmental needs.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Current Missouri RN license.
  • BLS, required. ACLS, preferred.
  • Chemotherapy and Oncology certification, preferred.
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience.
  • Previous EMR (Electronic Medical Records) experience, preferred.
