We are looking for an experienced Area Maintenance Manager to join our team to support Verde Ranch RV Resort with 389 RV Sites, fully furnished rental cabins, the manufactured home neighborhood in Verde Ranch Estates with 2- and 3-bedroom custom homes, and our Storage Facilities. We have both self-storage as well as RV Storage with state-of-the-art 24/7 security monitoring.

Position Summary: The Area Maintenance Manager (AMM) has supervisory responsibility overseeing 4 of CRR’s areas properties. The AMM is responsible for creating a schedule that provides coverage for all properties. This schedule will include daily tasks as well as the required preventative maintenance to maintain all equipment and structures. The AMM must possess technical labor skills in plumbing, light carpentry, construction, HVAC, and appliance repair. This position reports directly to the Corporate Director of Operations but will work closely with the property managers on open projects and capital projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees team member selection, training, scheduling, and development.
  • Conduct safety meetings, training, and maintains SDS binders.
  • Inspects and approves team’s work performance.
  • Reviews grounds, facilities, pools, rental units, infrastructure, and river frontage.
  • Installs, maintains, performs preventative maintenance on, and recommends replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment.
  • Executes various preventative maintenance functions and records findings in a maintenance log, either through delegation or by directly handling required tasks.
  • Prioritizes and delegates resort and neighborhood service request while facilitating tracking on the type and frequency of of requests.
  • Monitors the maintenance and upkeep of all community mechanical equipment, including water heater and HVAC units in common buildings, lawn mowers, weed eaters, etc.
  • Maintenances all resort, neighborhood, storage(s) landscaping including week control, river frontage, and irrigation systems.
  • Manages and operates propane fill station and propane tanks for resorts rental units.
  • Develops weekly staff work schedules within budgeted labor guidelines to ensure maximum productivity and revenue while maintaining service standards and quality.
  • Operates within property’s approved budget and makes decisions with respect to the allocation of funds within the maintenance department.
  • Completes on-call emergency services as required.
  • Flexibility to respond to Area needs during non-business hours.
