Job Description

PRODUCTION MAINTENANCE INVENTORY CLERK

1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive materials and parts for the plant
  • Stock, maintain and dispense inventory to the maintenance team
  • Monitor current and forecast upcoming levels of demand on inventories for routinely used items
  • Analyze inventory levels to promptly identify risks of obsolescence
  • Set up of maintenance parts and supplies including description and stock location
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on scheduled equipment outages and necessary parts associated within
  • Purchase Order creation and tracking
  • Contact vendors to obtain price bids; prepare parts requisitions
  • Follow all SOP’s Policies and procedures
  • Support all safety, food quality and sanitation initiatives and policies
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous maintenance parts room experience required
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understand manufacturing environment and maintenance tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
  • Experience with CMMS software, experience with MaintainX is a plus
  • Must be able to climb stairs and lift items weighing up to 30lbs
  • Forklift driving certification is a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
