About this Position
We are seeking an experienced Air Quality Specialist to support various markets and projects related to air quality permitting and compliance for clients in oil and gas, commercial/industrial, transportation, and local/federal government sectors. There will also be opportunities to assist with noise analyses for similar clients.
Responsibilities

Manage client interactions and oversee high-quality deliverables for air quality projects

Develop strategy and review air permit applications for federal and state agencies, including emissions inventories

Review state and federal regulations and apply them to client-specific situations
-
Maintain compliance recordkeeping and reporting per permit conditions

Complete greenhouse gas and state inventory reporting

Mentor entry-level air quality staff
-
Assist with noise analyses, including transportation impact evaluations

Support air quality proposal development and client marketing efforts as needed

Conduct transportation conformity analyses per DOT and FHWA protocols
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
-
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
-
6-10 years of experience in Air Quality-related professional services; candidates with more or less experience are encouraged to apply

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

Preferred experience with emissions and impact models such as ProMax, AERMOD, and MOVES
-
Familiarity with federal and/or state environmental regulations
-
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects independently

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent communication skills, especially in technical writing

Experience with noise analyses, TNM modeling, and noise monitoring is a plus
