Job Description

Summary: Performs grass cutting, lawn care and other grounds maintenance at City owned/operated facilities.

Work Hours: This position will work a designated schedule established by the Department Head. It is also expected this position will work other hours including nights, weekends and/or holidays and/or in adverse weather conditions as necessary or requested in order to fulfill the City's vision and/or to accomplish departmental goals.

The duties listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Essential Duties: Include, but are not limited to the following.

Cuts and trims grass using various fuel and hand held tools and equipment.

Picks up and discards tree branches, debris and/or items.

Education/Experience: Previous experience performing similar duties desired.
