Our restaurants, each with an average seating capacity of 300, are dedicated to delivering unforgettable dining experiences through exceptional service and a passion for culinary excellence.

Job Overview: Walk-On's is looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager. The ideal candidate will be a savvy business professional with a strong focus on people management, upholding high standards of cleanliness, and ensuring overall accountability within the restaurant. A key aspect of this role is developing a high-level training program to ensure our staff meets and exceeds our rigorous standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless service and a high-quality dining experience for all guests.
  • Drive sales growth while effectively managing financial aspects including budgeting, P&L analysis, and cost control.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for staff, focusing on service excellence, product knowledge, and operational efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and develop management staff, fostering a culture of leadership and professional growth.
  • Uphold rigorous standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal food safety and health regulations.
  • Handle customer relations with professionalism and resolve issues tactfully.
  • Coordinate with the culinary team to maintain the integrity of Walk-On's scratch-made menu.
  • Work with marketing to enhance the restaurant's visibility and brand recognition.
  • Lead by example to cultivate a positive work environment and a team-oriented culture.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
  • Proven track record in sales growth, financial management, and staff development.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and ability to conduct high-level training programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
