Office of Corporate Communications/OCCO/ Operations Division/Office Management/Staff Officer (Level III FTE at NGA Washington)

Overall Assignment Description:

The Contractor shall support the execution of NGA EXCOM strategic engagements to ensure organizational cohesion, currency of information, and adaptability to changing strategic priorities.

Duties:

  • Assisting OCC Operations Division staff in developing agendas for and facilitating NGA Senior Engagement Bureau (SEB) meetings.
  • Reviewing incoming engagement requests to be sure they have sufficient detail for the SEB to make an informed decision.Interfacing with SEB members to collect all relevant information pursuant to NGA EXCOM engagements for review.
  • Assisting OCC Operations Division in identifying deliverables arising from SEB meetings and working with appropriate stakeholders to provide those deliverables in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Providing technical support for SEB meetings, to include set up of teleconferences, video teleconferences, and briefings as appropriate.
  • Developing and implementing standardized data collection to facilitate weekly review of requests for NGA EXCOM engagements.
  • Collaborating with OCC web developers as appropriate to automate data collection efforts.
  • Assisting in developing and delivering reports regarding NGA EXCOM strategic engagements utilizing web capabilities to the maximum level possible.
  • Providing expert advice about engagement processes to SEB stakeholders.
  • Identifying and tracking SEB actions and coordinating as needed with SEB stakeholders to ensure successful execution of EXCOM engagements.
  • Support the development, documentation, and delivery of OCC strategic engagement plans to include assisting with metrics collection; assessments of performance measures; communications plan; and periodic update procedures.

Skills and Experience:

Required:

  • At least 12 months demonstrated experience in event management, strategic communications, managing complex and disparate datasets and leveraging them to understand trends and make predictions.
  • At least 12 months demonstrated experience in developing metrics to assess progress against strategic goals and objectives.
  • At least 12 months demonstrated editorial skills, including synthesizing disparate and often conflicting information into cohesive documents or briefing materials.
