Job Description

As a Social Worker, you will focus on providing a variety of social work services, including connection to housing, benefits, and community resources. You will have the opportunity to work with clients across a variety of several different programs, including primary care, prenatal services, and substance use disorder services. As a Social Worker you will also be working with vulnerable populations that will require empathy and confidentiality as you will handle sensitive issues and information. You will be working in a fast paced environment, so you will have to multi-task, and communication effectively in-person, phone, and/or electronic modalities. The Social Worker works within a team-based interdisciplinary approach to healthcare with ample opportunity to expand your skills.

This is a part-time position expected to work 24 hours at Families First Health and Support Center in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This is a permanent part-time position.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or other related human services field required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality under all circumstances.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to function effectively as a team member and be able to prioritize multiple tasks.
