*1-2 YEARS OF SOLAR SALES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED*
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic solar sales consultant to join our team. The solar sales consultant will play a crucial role in promoting and selling solar energy solutions to residential customers in the Denver Metro area. As a solar sales consultant, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, assessing their energy needs, providing detailed solar system proposals, and closing sales deals. This role requires a strong understanding of solar energy technology, excellent communication skills, and a passion for renewable energy.
We have a large database of leads and past customers. We are looking for an individual with a track record in solar sales. We are at the beginning stages of building our solar division.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Relationship Management:
- Generate leads and identify potential customers through various channels, including referrals, networking, lead calls, and attending industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, providing exceptional customer service.
- Conduct thorough assessments of customer energy needs.
- Educate customers about the benefits and advantages of solar energy, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Present detailed solar system proposals to customers, highlighting the financial, environmental, and long-term benefits of solar energy solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales activities, and pipeline reports using CRM software.
- Stay updated on the latest solar energy industry trends, government incentives, regulations, and competitor offerings.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and target markets for solar energy solutions.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and understand the technical aspects of solar systems to effectively communicate their value proposition to customers.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to the management team regarding new strategies and new market opportunities.
- Provide regular updates and sales reports to the sales manager and contribute to team meetings and strategy discussions.
- Share best practices and sales techniques with team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Proven track record in solar sales. THIS IS REQUIRED
- Strong understanding of solar energy technology, systems, and installation processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and effectively convey complex information to customers.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets in a dynamic and competitive environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools for lead management and reporting.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
