**RECENT PAY RATE INCREASES**
*Up to $30,000 sign on bonus available*
Provides evaluation of assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Provides assistance to nursing peers as requested. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the nursing field.
Graduate of a nursing program is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Must demonstrate ability to interpret basic EKG strips as evidenced by 80% or greater pass rate on initial exam or successful competency within six (6) weeks of hire date. Prior emergency or critical care nursing experience is preferred.
Current Mississippi or compact RN licensure is required. BLS, ACLS and PALS required (or within 30 days of hire); SAMA required (or within 60 days of hire); TNCC required (or within 18 months of hire)
