We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Charleston, South Carolina. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment and enjoys working independently while supporting day-to-day office operations. The position could require anywhere between 20-40 hours per week and is expected to last at least 8 weeks.
Responsibilities:
• Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling light foot traffic.
• Answer incoming calls and provide assistance or direct inquiries to the appropriate team members.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using office management tools.
• Utilize Canva to create visually appealing documents and marketing materials.
• Update and manage websites through GoDaddy, ensuring content is current and functional.
• Assist with light accounts payable tasks using Sage 300.
• Coordinate daily administrative tasks to support the team effectively.
• Maintain professionalism in all client interactions, ensuring excellent service delivery.
• Support the office with general administrative duties as required.
• Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a client-facing environment.
• Proficiency in Canva for creating marketing and design materials.
• Familiarity with GoDaddy for managing websites and content updates.
• Basic knowledge of accounts payable processes, with experience using Sage 300 as a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic office setting.
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative to complete tasks.
