This is a full-time salaried position with benefits upon completion of a probationary period. The Masters Level Clinician will provide direct services to assigned youth and families. Under the supervision of a Licensed Clinician, Masters Level Clinicians will implement treatment strategies in community-based settings with a focus on promoting positive behavior, skill development, and improved overall functioning. Clinicians will develop treatment plans, facilitate interventions to address the youth/family’s goals, and monitor progress.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

· Conduct weekly therapeutic sessions in the youth/family’s home or community.

· Develop comprehensive service plans with individualized treatment goals to address behavioral, emotional, social, and/or psychiatric needs.

· Incorporate fitness, recreational, and/or sports-related activities to facilitate goal attainment.

· Maintain accurate and timely documentation that emphasizes progress.

· Endorse the highest quality of services through a team-based approach by participating in weekly supervision, treatment team meetings, and other collaborative efforts.

· Participate in opportunities and trainings that will enhance overall skills and abilities.

· Track and run weekly utilization reports.

· Promote and advocate services on behalf of CoxPHIT’s programs.

· Ability and willingness to commute throughout areas in Essex County.

· Ability to work after school hours and weekends.

Required Qualifications (Education, Skills & Experience)

· Provisional licensure as a Social Worker (LSW) or Counselor (LAC).

· Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or another related clinical field.

· Experience managing a caseload of 10 or more individuals.

· Experience creating, promoting, and facilitating programs.

· Experience leading a group or team.

· Basic computer skills.

· Basic understanding of creating SMART goals.

· Minimum of one-year direct experience working with youth and families, especially youth with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

· CPR Certification.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate a proficient level of cultural competence, and be responsive to the needs of youth and families served.

· Bilingual preferred.
