Our dental practice is growing, and we are looking for an experienced and certified dental assistant to provide support to our dentist and hygienists, and high-quality dental care to our patients. Our ideal candidate has 2 or more years of dental practicing experience, a current CDA / RDA license, and excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills. If this sounds ideal for you, we invite you to apply today.Responsibilities•Ensure patient comfort throughout their appointments and provide superior customer service throughout patient appointments•Assist the Doctors during patient treatment•Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols•Complete parts of patient care as permitted after the proper training and certification, such as taking x-rays and intraoral scans of patients' teeth to create 3D Models•Restock rooms and ensure they are clean and presentable as needed•Assist in answering patient questions about dental health and treatment, as well as be well-informed about treatment and dental wellness•Perform Lab work after proper training, both Analog and Digital; there is a potential opportunity to design and create crowns, nightguards, dentures, and other dental appliances that we Mill or 3D Print•Meet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during appointment•Prepare and lay out sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials inside treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures•Answer any questions the patient may have about dental hygiene, schedule appointments for patient care follow up, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients' teeth and gums, after procedures•Take and document vital signs and medical history for patient records•Ensure dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after useQualifications•Excellent multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills•Ability to provide superb patient care and customer service•Strong work ethic, a commitment to our Practice's values, and a desire to learn and advance•Well-organized and reliable•Dental Assistant training program completion is strongly preferred but not necessary•Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are preferred•Must possess a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)•2 years of dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant•Computer skills and experience with dental software and updating patient histories is needed•Certification or Associate's Degree from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required
