We are now seeking a Human Resources Specialist with a background in teaching and EdTech recruitment experience recruitment to join our on-site team in Fort-Lee, NJ.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and recruit qualified educators and academic professionals, including tutors, admissions consultans and academic mentors.
- Conduct interviews and manage the end-to-end hiring process, including candidate screening, feedback, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a strong teacher pipeline aligned with our academic needs.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify staffing needs and future recruitment goals.
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, ZipRecruiter, and international teacher platforms to attract top talent.
- Manage ATS records, track candidate progress, and ensure timely communication.
- Oversee HR operations including contracts, compliance, and coordinating instructor payments based on submitted invoices.
- Represent Scholege at education fairs and networking events to expand recruitment channels.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Teaching background (former teacher or tutor) strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of proven HR or recruitment experience, ideally within an education, EdTech or online learning organization setting.
- Familiarity with academic programs (AP, IB, A Level, SAT, ESL) and student learning structures.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills.
- Experience with ATS systems, Microsoft Office, and online recruitment tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
