Job Description
We are seeking skilled welders to join our dynamic welding team. Our company specializes in the manufacturing and marketing of auto parts, including mufflers, silencers, exhaust tubes, thermal management tubing, and hydraulic and lubrication assemblies. With a rich history dating back to 1939 and expansion to 23 locations, we pride ourselves on quality and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
- Prepare materials before welding and select appropriate welding techniques.
- Ensure the quality and strength of welds through precise techniques.
- Maintain safety standards and comply with OSHA regulations.
- Operate welding machines and tools efficiently.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel.
- Ability to pass a math test (simple adding/subtracting decimals, identifying measurements on a ruler in inches).
- Ability to pass MIG/TIG weld test.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Must have own welding helmet and gloves.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with fabrication, stainless steel, and blueprint reading.
- Knowledge of grinding and welding machines.
- Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in welding.

Work Environment
Our workplace is a large, clean, and organized warehouse spanning 256,000 sq ft, where safety is our top priority. Welders have their own booths equipped with snorkel systems to vacuum debris. While all PPE is provided, candidates must bring their own welding helmet and gloves. The work schedule includes shifts from 5:00am to 3:30pm or 3:30pm to 2:00am, with a 10% shift differential for second shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mooresville, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
