Position: IT Coordinator

Position Overview

The IT Coordinator will provide technical assistance and support to employees with computer systems, hardware, or software issues. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving IT problems, maintaining system documentation, managing IT assets, and assisting with the implementation of new technologies.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues, ensuring efficient and professional support.
  • Apply operating system updates and patches in line with company procedures and best practices.
  • Deploy, install, and configure new IT equipment, including computers and mobile devices across locations.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT-related assets.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for IT systems and procedures.
  • Onboard and support new and existing users with pre-existing technologies.
  • Assist with testing, reviewing, and implementing technology solutions and upgrades.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of business experience working with computer systems in an office environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with individuals throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Office 365 is preferred with a thorough understanding of computer related security systems including firewalls, encryption and password protection.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative on work tickets, and provide strong customer service.
  • An ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, dependable and a team player.

Education

  • Associate's degree in information technology or a related field (or two years of equivalent experience).

Work Environment

  • General office setting with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Ability to lift computer equipment up to 50 lbs. regularly
