General Summary
Assists in planning, organizing and implementing the operations of the Academic Success Center and its services. Develops effective academic support services for students and coordinates the delivery of multiple support services, including the Supplemental Instruction Program, Writing Coach Program, Peer Tutoring Program, and other programs offered through the Academic Success Center. Instructional responsibilities assigned within foundations education. Performs duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Assists the Academic Success Center Director in developing, managing and implementing support services of the Academic Success Center; including the development and provision of support services, development of course materials for instruction of foundations education courses as needed, and the day to day operations of the Academic Success Center. Specific support services include but are not limited to: Supplemental Instruction Program, Writing Coaches, Peer Tutoring Program, Professional Tutoring/Consultants, and Academic Skill Builder offerings.

Develops and coordinates the instruction of the Academic Skill Builder Program year-round, and collaborates with Admissions and Enrollment teams to make Skill Builder available to prospective students. Hires and schedules tutors, develops materials, provides instruction, advises students enrolled, and makes decisions regarding the organization of the Skill Builder Program.

Assists in the development of course materials, uses college wide curriculum, and helps in the coordination of Foundations Education courses, including foundation math and reading courses and/or co-requisite offerings as needed.

Develops and coordinates all operations of the Tutoring Program (approximately 10-20 tutors per semester), to include recruitment, training, scheduling and supervision of tutors at the Grand Island Campus and Kearney Center

Collaborates with other Student Success staff to provide a comprehensive and complimentary system of services and events, including but not limited to Commencement, New Student Orientation, Registration Days, semester welcome activities, etc.
