An insurance company in the Portland, OR is looking for a Data Engineer to join their team. This person will be assisting the Actuarial Transformation, which is a multi-year initiative to support the Actuary stakeholders internally with modernizing and automating their data platforms and processes. This person must have a strong DevOps understanding with engineering best practices for pre and post modeling. Must have a strong background using Databricks. Experience working with Actuaries or within the Actuarial space is a plus. Data Science background is a plus, and could be beneficial to have coming into this role. This team works core PST hours with flexibility around 9-3pm PST.
