Irvine based Plaintiff Personal Injury litigation law firm is seeking to hire a full-time Pre-litigation assistant/paralegal. Duties and skills required include:
- Maintaining a pre-litigation case load of personal injury cases ranging from automobile collisions to wrongful death cases.
- Must have excellent knowledge in obtain medical records and billing.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to prepare written correspondence on behalf of the attorneys including demand letters.
- Must be able to multi-task, manage time sensitive documents and excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to function in a busy team environment.
- Maintaining client database and client files.
- Calculating and calendaring case related deadlines.
- Resolution of property damage claims.
- Resolution of medical payments for clients.
- Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, opposing party, and/or third parties.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook. Knowledge of Trial works a plus
- Litigation assistant skills including drafting Complaints, Discovery and various pleadings a plus.
· Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
· Minimum 3 Years Plaintiff Personal Injury experience required.
