The idealcandidate is highly skilled in all aspects of commercial mechanical estimatingand selling projects ranging from $5,000 - $2,000,000, blueprints, specifications,contacting suppliers for pricing, and other documentation to preparetimely accurate labor and cost estimates.
The Construction Sales Representative willembody Fidelity Mechanical Services' Vision and Business Strategy byproviding "Proactive World Class Service" to the markets served, based onProfitability, Credibility, Employee Base Environment, Customer Service, andQuality.
THE ROLE AT A GLANCE:
- Candidate must perform all aspects of developing preliminary and/or definitive detailed estimates and proposals for labor, materials, andequipment associated with mechanical construction projects encompassingplumbing, hydronic/weld piping and sheet metal.
- Obtain and evaluate vendor and sub-contractor pricing forcompliance with project specifications and drawings.
- Attend pre-bid site meetings, verify site conditions, and interfacewith Owners, Developers, and General Contractors.
- Manage the bid preparation and formal written proposal process inits entirety.
- Electronically maintain records of all working documents and datato back up estimates and proposals.
- Assist, organize, and prioritize work in conjunction with salesengineers.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven successful experience preparingestimates and proposals for commercial mechanical projects utilizingcomputerized estimation and digital take off software.
- Ability to provide a complete commercial mechanical constructionestimate and proposal for either plan/spec or design/build projects includingplumbing, hydronic piping and sheet metal work.
- Ability to understand/coordinate Mechanical Construction with otherbuilding trades (Architectural/Structural etc.)
- Competency with computerized estimating and digital take-offsoftware.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with goodcommunication and writing abilities.
- Familiarity with plumbing, hydronic piping, and sheet metal.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with an emphasis onmultitasking.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational time managementskills.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.

Wage Range:
- Base Salary of $60,000 - $90,000 with a lucrative commission structure (immediate eligibility), and mileage reimbursement.
- Commensurate with experience. This range represents a general guideline; however, a number of factors are considered when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
