As the Infrastructure Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services. You’ll collaborate with leadership to align infrastructure strategies with business goals, ensure system reliability and performance, and drive innovative solutions to meet our evolving needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/SCOPE:

  • Architect Infrastructure: Design and implement robust IT infrastructure solutions that support our business objectives and growth strategies.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to align infrastructure initiatives with business goals and ensure strategic integration.
  • Technology Roadmap: Develop and maintain a technology roadmap to support current and future infrastructure needs, keeping pace with industry advancements.
  • System Reliability: Oversee the day-to-day management of IT systems, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident response and troubleshooting efforts to resolve infrastructure issues promptly and effectively.
  • Performance Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring tools to proactively identify and address performance and capacity issues.
  • Oversee Projects: Manage IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with project stakeholders, including vendors and other departments, to ensure successful project delivery and integration.
  • Ensure Security: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect IT infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Compliance: Ensure infrastructure operations comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, including data privacy and security requirements.
  • Manage Budget: Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient resource utilization.
  • Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring the best value and performance.
  • Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, manage team performance, and support professional development to ensure high team engagement and productivity.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance infrastructure management and efficiency.
  • Business Continuity: Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring the company is prepared for potential disruptions.
  • Additional work duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, or ITIL) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in IT infrastructure management, with a track record of successfully managing complex IT environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud services.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a technical team.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing infrastructure projects and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of IT security principles and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to machinery and equipment.
  • Frequent sitting, keyboarding, lifting or carrying computer/computer bag, speaking, near and far visual activity, and hearing (in person, on telephone, in video conference calls, etc.).
  • Occasional driving, standing, walking, lifting to 30 lbs., reaching, and stooping.
  • Occasional travel to other company locations or vendor sites may be required.
