About the Role
As a Tier 1 Service Technician, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining a high level of service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support: Answer incoming calls, emails, and chat requests from clients.
  • Troubleshoot common technical issues: Diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software problems, such as:
    • Password resets
    • Account lockouts
    • Software installation and configuration issues
    • Basic network connectivity problems
    • Email and application troubleshooting
  • Document all client interactions: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all support interactions in our ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex issues: Identify and escalate complex issues to senior technicians or engineers as needed.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude: Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions: Continuously improve your technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role (preferred).

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with common applications (Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers, etc.).
  • Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop).

Customer Service Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Patience and empathy in dealing with clients.

Other Skills:

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
