About this job:

Early Childhood Education (ECE) Paraprofessionals assist in planning and implementing the daily curriculum for young students including students with special needs. Also supports all areas of a young child's development, including physical, social-emotional, cognitive and language skills under the guidance of the teacher.

What You'll Do:

  • Performs classroom duties as assigned, including but not limited to preparing instructional materials, assisting with student instruction, student care and discipline, and keeping the classroom clean and well-organized.
  • Plans and evaluates program and student needs with the teacher daily and addresses specific student needs as identified by the teacher.
  • Communicates with teachers and administrators about performance and disciplinary issues.
  • Complies with program rules and regulations including State of Colorado licensing requirements for Child Care Centers.

  • For ECE Para's Only: Copy of your high school diploma or GED AND must successfully complete ECE 101 within a designated period of time which will be determined after hire.

  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
