Based in Pittsburgh, PA (facility also in Virginia)Job RequirementsJob Duties:Work on energy-related projects with a focus on renewablesLead civil site engineering tasksInterface with clients on civil site tasksLead assigned project teamsLead development of civil site proposalsResponsible for task management on assigned projects (schedules, budgets, and quality of work)The candidate will lead civil site engineering tasks including:Site Grading PlansErosion and Sediment Control PlansStormwater Management PlansHydrologic and Hydraulic / Drainage PlansUtility Design and Relocation PlansMaintenance and Protection of Traffic PlansGeotechnical InvestigationsPermit Applications (earth disturbance permits, building permits, land development plans, high occupancy permits, etc.)Access Road Section DevelopmentConstruction Drawings, Specifications, and Quality Control PlansConstruction Cost EstimatesOwner's Engineer Support During ConstructionField InvestigationsGeneral CharacteristicsApplies broad knowledge of principles and practices in a specific practice area.Independently evaluates, selects, and adapts standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.Leads tasks and projects of moderately complex scopes.Develops plans, specifications, and other project documents.Selects appropriate principles of engineering economics, and probability and statistics to analyze risk in a complex engineering problem.Technical ResponsibilitiesAssign tasks to other technical and non-technical staff.
