ITTConnect is seeking a Lead Enterprise Applications Support Engineer to work for one of our clients. This is a role with a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the Telecom business.
Job location: Hybrid in Sandy Springs, GA (3 days a week in the office)
This position is critical for managing, supporting, and improving a portfolio of enterprise applications to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and strong leadership qualities to drive strategic initiatives, mentor team members, and manage high-priority incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Management:
- Oversee enterprise applications, proactively identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Perform regular maintenance, including patching, upgrades, and monitoring application environments.
- Operational Support:
- Diagnose and resolve complex break-fix issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining application health.
- Act as a lead responder for Priority 1 incidents, driving resolution and communication with stakeholders.
- Leverage tools like New Relic to monitor application performance and generate actionable insights.
- Project Leadership:
- Own, drive, and provide status updates for strategic projects across the portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful transitions from project delivery to operations.
- Development & Innovation:
- Assist teams in designing and delivering innovative application features and solutions.
- Contribute to automating operational tasks
- Team Leadership:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with peers, leaders, and stakeholders.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise applications engineering or a related role.
- Advanced proficiency in Power Platform, WordPress, and server/systems administration (Windows and Linux).
- Proven experience handling Priority 1 incidents and operational break-fix issues.
- Strong understanding of monitoring tools like New Relic.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to mentor and guide teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with SharePoint site design and user permission management.
- Knowledge of APIs for process automation.
- Salesforce and packaged business capabilities (PBCs) expertise.
- Previous experience leading strategic initiatives or projects.
