Summary of Duties:
The Electrical Foreman will need to be well experienced in being able to run a commercial job from start to finish.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Layout normal circuitry, read blue prints while staying within the specifications of the job to ensure job is installed correctly.
· Review power and fixture submittals.
· Keep materials ordered for several days in advance and on the job.
· Run both large and small crews.
· Up to date on local electrical codes.
· Up to date on fire codes.
· Up to date on energy codes.
· Good communication skills.
· Willing to put in the hours it takes to complete the jobs he or she is over.
· Willing to be a team player and work directly with his or her project manager
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED).
· At least 5 years of Commercial experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
· State of Alabama Journeyman or Master Electrical card.
· Valid Driver’s License to include active liability insurance.
· Successful completion of required criminal record and motor vehicle record background checks.
· Ability to pass a drug screening.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
· Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
· Ability to multitask.
· Loud noise levels.
· Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Language Skills:
· Ability to effectively communicate with staff, management and clients.
· Ability to interact with others with positive professionalism.
· Ability to accurately read and understand technical instructions.
