POSITION SUMMARY:

The Menard Inc. Flight Department is looking for a certified A&P technician to join our team. This individual will be providing maintenance, inspection and repair to Cessna Citations and Embraer Regional Jets while maintaining a high level of dedication to service, safety and quality. Candidates should be resourceful and willing to learn, detail oriented, highly motivated, and take ownership of their work.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Conduct inspections, repairs and modifications to airframes, engines and avionics systems during routine and non-routine maintenance inspections
•Identify and remedy defects noted during scheduled and non-scheduled inspections
•Properly follow manufacturer maintenance manuals and FAA Part 125 Approved Inspection Program
•Accurately complete and maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and inspection activities through the use of aircraft logbooks and CAMP Systems International software
•Document and maintain parts, tooling and equipment inventory
•Inspect and repair components including but not limited to aircraft wheels and batteries
•MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES: Will be required to perform other duties at the direction of Flight Department Management
Skills & Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
  • Meet the recency of experience requirements of 14 CFR §65.83
  • Strong interpersonal communication
  • Ability to work and problem solve independently as well as part of a team
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and 80 pounds occasionally
  • Be capable of standing, bending, crouching and stretching for prolonged periods of time
  • Read and understand detailed schematics and wiring diagrams
