The Role Itself
Job Description
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, control, and completion of projects while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization. The Technical Project Manager serves as an interface with internal clients and business teams with respect to business problems, issues, and opportunities within the framework of the business requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle. Continuously tracking project statuses, resolving obstructions (resource constraints, requirement ambiguity, staff constraint, etc.), and communicating ongoing progress to stakeholders, and suggesting changes to guarantee optimal use of the company's resources.
Responsibilities
•Plan and implement projects
•Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
•Define tasks and allocate required resources
•Create a project schedule and timeline
•Strategic alignment with business stakeholders to define requirements
•Drive common standards and guidelines
•Contribute to process and document Knowledge Base (KB).
•Lead quality assurance
•Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
•Handle customer escalations and follow issues through to resolution
•Design and Implement IT solutions to meet the needs of the organizations business goals
Job Requirements:
•Health Care industry knowledge and experience a plus
•Stakeholder Management
•Excellent Organizational Skills
•Conflict resolution experience
•Project planning, risk management, time management, and other project management skills
•Experience in strategic planning and/or change management
•Proficiency in project management software and tools
•Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent experience/qualifications as a project manager
•3-5 years of Project Management experience, preferably in a related industry
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
Work Experience:
- 3-5 yrs of project management exp.
