Work Schedule:
- Thisposition is for up to 20 hours per week.
- Mustbe available between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Mustbe available from 4 pm to 9 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Theschedule for this position will vary each week and will be required to work inthe Denton and Lewisville offices each week.
This position is responsible for providing on-sitechildcare to children ages 0-17 years while their family members are receivingservices from the agency. The FES will engage children in constructiveactivities while ensuring safety and confidentiality for each child. Thisposition requires occasional management of the front desk.
Essential Functions
- Engage children of all ages waiting in theActivity Center in constructive group and/or individual activities.
- Greet all clients, donors, volunteers,vendors, and team members and connect them with appropriate staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service and helpresolve client/team/staff concerns.
- Ensure donations are received, documented, anddistributed to the appropriate staff/place.
- Provide information on available services andensure availability of resource materials in waiting/activity areas.
- Adhere to all CACNT security and proceduralpolicies.
- Communicate any client concerns or needs withother staff to ensure high quality service.
- Ensure office and PPE supplies are available.
- Ensure that waiting spaces and activity centerareas are clean, safe, and organized and adequately equipped with necessarysupplies.
- Answer and transfer incoming calls, anddistribute incoming/outgoing mail and faxes.
- Schedule transportation services for clients.
- Enter services in database as appropriate.
- Participate in scheduled team meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be willing to work at both Lewisville /Denton offices including off-site event locations.
- Maintain confidentiality
Travel
This position is based in the Lewisville, TX office, butcandidate must be willing to work at all offices (Bridgeport, Lewisville, andDenton) when agency needs arise.
Education and Training
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
- A minimum of 1 year of experience providingchildcare required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience providingcustomer service required
