We are seeking a Phone Support Technician with a strong troubleshooting background and excellent customer service skills. This role does not require travel and is ideal for someone who thrives on solving technical issues and enjoys interacting with customers over the phone. Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide phone-based troubleshooting and support for customer equipment.
- Guide customers through necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure smooth equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate records of support calls and escalate issues to field service when needed.
- Manage shared email inbox with customer inquiries.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
Education: Associates degree or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Experience in technical support or troubleshooting role, preferably with electro/mechanical machinery preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of commercial embroidery equipment is a plus.
Skills:
- Proficiency with electronics, mechanics, and strong diagnostic skills.
- Excellent customer focus, with the ability to respond professionally and reliably to a range of customer inquiries.
- Strong verbal communication skills and comfortable with providing remote support.
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics and documentation.
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
Certifications/Licenses:
Valid Drivers License
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating/maintaining Tajima Embroidery machines.
- Bilingual (optional)

Working Conditions
No travel is required; work is conducted in an office setting, occasional physical demands related to troubleshooting inquiries.
