Job Description:
The consultant will design, develop, and provide subject matter expertise for a flight simulation product built on Unreal engine. Leverage, extend, or replace native Unreal engine capabilities with an eye towards performance, visual realism, and long-term maintainability. Contribute to subsystems including rendering, shading, lighting, load balancing, weather effects, animation, multi-threading, anti-aliasing, dynamic paging, display interfaces, and more. Provide guidance on estimation, scheduling, and software architecture decisions.
The team is agile and multi-disciplinary. The position incorporates all facets of software development from communication, requirements assessment, research, design, development, testing, integration, peer review, documentation, maintenance, and end user support.
REQUIRE SKILLS:
- 5+ years of Unreal Engine Developer experience
- Strong C/C++ programming
- Able to write data structures in C/C++
- Simulation experience with overlapping in gaming experience
- Unreal 3D graphics experience
- Able to work Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm CST hours
